Raghavendra is a climate and strategy professional with expertise in corporate responsibility and circular economy frameworks. He has been central to advancing initiatives such as the Materials Recovery Facility, helping ensure valuable resources are retained within the economy. Recognized as an EPR leader, he brings stakeholders together to strengthen regulatory frameworks and build collaborations that bridge municipalities, organizations, and communities—delivering long-lasting, self-sustaining solutions in waste management.

Kushal is an entrepreneur at heart, driven by a strong work ethic and a passion for innovation. He specializes in designing sustainable, evidence-based solutions, drawing on his diverse experience in the private and social sectors. Kushal holds a master’s degree in Development Economics from the University of Goettingen, Germany, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from Washington and Lee University, USA.

Ashma is a sustainability professional with broad international experience in resource management and circular economy practices. She has developed Zero Waste Programs in California, worked with NGOs and INGOs on development projects, and advised corporations on CSR initiatives. She is also a Climatebase Fellow, recognized for her commitment to climate action. Bhuwan Chalise is an E-waste, solid waste management, and MEAL expert with over 10 years of experience working at engineering, environment, and urban policy in Nepal. Currently a Master’s candidate in Urban Studies at Kathmandu University, he holds a multidisciplinary academic foundation with a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kathmandu University and a BSc (Honours) in Environmental Science from the University of Northampton, United Kingdom.As the E-waste Manager at Doko Recyclers, Bhuwan spearheads the strategic planning of e-waste operations and sourcing initiatives, ensuring strict alignment with national environmental policies and circular economy principles.
Public Relations Manager
Bibek is a communications and brand strategy professional with a strong foundation in law and business management, bringing over a decade of cross-sector experience spanning trading, e-commerce, fintech, health, and social enterprise. At Doko Recyclers, he leads public relations, media engagement, and corporate communications — shaping how the organization’s mission reaches communities, partners, and the public. Having travelled to 90% of the country gives him a grounded understanding of the communities and contexts at the heart of Doko’s work, informing outreach strategies that are both locally rooted and nationally resonant.
Project Manager
Bima is an environmental and social development professional with over 11 years of experience working at the intersection of climate change, environmental management, and social inclusion in Nepal. She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science (Climate Change) and a Master’s in Sociology (Gender and Feminist Studies). Her expertise includes environmental compliance, sustainable waste management, disaster risk reduction, research, and community-based climate adaptation. She brings a strong interdisciplinary approach, combining technical knowledge with social insights to support effective and sustainable development practices.

Bishwa is our Doko Pickup Agent and always has a smile on his face when he greets our clients, household or otherwise. He likes to watch movies, is learning to play the guitar, and is our resident Candy Crush extraordinaire.
Operations & Trading Manager
Hemang Dixit is the Operations and Trading Manager at Doko Recyclers, responsible for overseeing trading operations and managing key scrap processing sites. He leads procurement and sales of recyclable materials, and ensures smooth site operations. He is committed to building strong teams, improving systems, and fostering sustainable growth in the recycling sector.

Janney is currently pursuing Bachelors in Environmental Science from Patan Multiple Campus. As a Project Assistant at Doko, she is involved in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, hub implementation, proposal writing, etc. She loves nature and plants and enjoys expressing creativity through beautiful mandala art.
